I have a set of tweed type fabric fold out sofas (love and full sofa) (13 years old) that my cats love destroyed by scratching my back. The sofas are outside so they look awful because the cats have completely destroyed the sofas except for the tree. I've bought other cases and they need constant adjustment every time they sit. Previous slipcovers did not cover the back of sofas well and clearly "looked" like slipcovers. I sent each of them back and decided I would just throw out all the envelopes. I haven't found THIS cover yet! Each part of the cover is a separate section. Sounds complicated, but works GREAT! They stretched well enough to fit over most armrests, perfectly covering the recliner parts and. From time to time I have to adjust the inside corners of the seat due to LOTS of seating (I have tall boys at home. 6ft 270lbs). The color I chose (similar to the original) is navy blue, looks amazing! In fact, they also help repel white cat fur! These cases are worth EVERY PENNY I spent on them! I always read reviews and when I read a review that highly recommends a product I always wonder what could be wrong with all the pros. Well, the elastic on the inside of each piece can be the same color as the cover, not white. Why? Because the parts that cover the arms overlap with the back covers and, like all elastics, curl slightly, exposing the white elastic. But it is such a SMALL problem! I set it up once but nothing is 100% perfect but these covers are 99.99% the best!
