Amplifier works great straight out of the box. The PSU isn't great, some very faint hissing at 0% volume, most likely from the PSU (but honestly doesn't matter and can't be heard when playing music). I had an unswitched DC power supply on the go, I'll update the review when I'm done. With my 100 watt speakers per channel, this thing goes from quiet to super loud instantly. The only problem I have with this amp is the volume potentiometer. The high and low frequency potentiometers are nice and smooth, but the power level? and it goes from soft to loud in one step, with little control at the soft end. It's some kind of B503 50k potentiometer. I am going to do it with a fully linear/stepless potentiometer with max 100k ohms. When I finish this project I will update the review. Addendum: The bottom solder is ok, but there is a lot of flux residue on the board. This may not bother anyone but me, but after replacing the potentiometer I will also clean the circuit board, you can check yours if it bothers you.
