I recently used this product to patch a sidewall crack on the rear tire on my Polaris Sportsman that I've been plugging and sliming with since 2014 struggling The device was only a few months old. I was planning on finally taking the tire off and patching it from the inside when I came across this product so I decided to give it a try. I took the tire off, the sidewall plugs were torn, and I gave it a thorough cleaning to remove any slime or dirt stains. I then sanded down the area around the gap that contained raised letters so I had a flat surface. I dried everything with compressed air and then slowly glued the tear/puncture back together. Then I cut out the patch and mark the spot on the outside of the tire. Then I sanded the edges of the patch with an angle grinder and glued it according to the instructions. I left everything for an hour and inflated the tire to 25 pounds, well above normal operating pressure. Checked with soapy water, there was a small leak in one spot. I cleaned everything up, lifted the edge of the patch where it was leaking, poured in a little more glue and let it sit for another hour. Pumped up, no leaks this time. I've only driven the unit about 20 miles since the repair, but it's holding up the pressure.
