Benefits: Improves engine performance. Smoother acceleration curve. Gives a more responsive feel. Cons: There are some quality control issues in production. One of the kits had threads that were not 100% correct. Almost cut my engine block. Causes an increase in engine temperature by a maximum of 1-3 degrees. Gas Savings: Unknown, no tools to verify accurately. Other comments: If after installing these plugs you notice idle problems or similar, you will need to restart the engine. computer to make it work properly. I called E3 tech support and they said everything should work right away. NOT CORRECT! Installing out of the box caused my 2000 Civic to idle a little rough. I used to have NGK spark plugs and they were noticeably softer. So I restarted my computer and the inactivity problem was noticeably smoothed out. I took it for a 35 mile ride and halfway down I noticed that it felt like the engine was stalling as I came close to a complete stop. I followed that, and when I returned home, that second problem was completely ironed out. Based on my observations I doubt this fork can handle up to 100,000 miles or km, it just looks like a cheap fork. I hope it lasts at least 40,000 and I can handle it. I did a lot of reading before I bought them and one thing that struck me was that no one bothered to tune their motors right out of the box. Once they noticed a bad idle, users would take them out and throw them away. I think that's why lawn mower users got such great reviews. These motors do not need to be controlled by a computer; It just needs a stable spark to work. So now you know what to do to fix this idle problem. Of course, this may not 100% solve the problem, but it should help a lot. This power increase is what I've been looking for for years and my next improvement is cleaning the injectors. I will keep an eye on these plugins and post updates in the future. I am also very excited to see what will happen next. If nothing bad happens later, I will use them as goto candles instead of NGK. There's nothing wrong with NGKs, they only max out when the engine is old so you'll have to look elsewhere to upgrade an old engine like mine. My car is a 2000 Civic Ferio EK3. I can't say if you will have the same positive experience with your car, but it really works with mine. Definitely better than Iriduims (for me). Update: July 1st, 2017 These plugs are still working great. Bought two more sets. These are my goto stubs now. Further update: March 30, 2018 These stubs still work. I took them out and whipped them up a bit. I used a copper brush to clean them. I didn't see any serious deterioration in them. Only the usual color change of all candles after a thousand kilometers. They still work VERY well, so I support them 100%. I'm still amazed by their work (lifetime, performance and stability). I can't say anything about the fuel consumption yet. It seems to use the same amount of fuel or a little more. Update: June 1st, 2019: The same candle set still works great! That's all. I call the E3 a success story!
