Review on ๐Ÿง– Aadya Care Facial Exfoliating Scrub (Set of 2) by Nicole Slotnick

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Lots of firmness which I love

The Aadya face scrub has more 'grit' than other face scrubs I have used. According to the ingredient list, "cerealsโ€ are "walnut shell fibers.โ€ I pretty much judge facial scrubs by their grittiness, and the grittiness in this scrub exfoliates and cleanses my face well. The sand feels sharp, which again I like, and I definitely felt it scratch my face. One of the ingredients is neem oil. I propagate many plants indoors and use a blend of neem oils to control fungal gnats that like to invade moist soil. I think I was too sensitive to the scent because I was using the oil as an insecticide. I'm not a fan of fragrances so I didn't like the smell of the scrub while it was on my face. To me it smelled like burnt avocado. Most people will probably not be sensitive to the smell. But in any case, once I washed the scrub off my face, the smell went away. Oh, and by the way, I used quite a bit of scrub so two packs should last a long time. The scrub left my skin clean and surprisingly moisturized. I have oily facial skin and the next morning after using the scrub when my face was already a little oily it wasn't oily at all. I don't have sensitive skin so I can't comment on how it works for people with sensitive skin, but it was great for me. I'm very happy with this scrub and at $16.95 for two packs I think it's good value for the money. Highly recommended
