If you're expecting a comforter, it's sold out. This is SLINKY. This is Lycra material. It's on the thinner side, it's very stretchy. It is NOT intended to be used as a separate horse blanket. This helps keep the fur soft, smooth, nice and clean. There's a little extra warmth when used under a blanket. With that said, yes, they will break. Yes, they break easily. This is part of the Slinky purchase. Very happy with the quality. The waist strap and leg straps are amazing. Sufficient material around the neck to prevent abrasion of the horse's mane fabric during movement. The holes for the ears and eyes are not solid so this is a huge benefit as they don't fall over the horse's eyes and face like some others do. The colors are not the same... Burgundy is not burgundy. As you can see in the picture, it is bright orange. This should be fixed. Although purple was purple. Will order more when other sizes become available.
