I've had a Spigen Rugged Armor case for multiple phones and it's historically been a pretty solid choice for the money. It wasn't Otterbox quality, but Otterbox doesn't make cases for many non-Samsung or Apple phones. Spigen makes cases for a lot more phones and sells them for a lot less too. So when money is tight, Spigen has usually been a good option, which is what makes this case so disappointing. The Spigen Rugged Armor looks the same as the smartphone version, but is a lot less grippy - actually more comfortable and probably safer to handle the tablet bare than this case. The problem with this particular version of the Rugged Armor case is almost obvious in the first few minutes of use - Spigen simply enlarged the exact same case to fit, but they didn't use the extra TPU to offset the extra weight. and the size of a tablet compared to a smartphone. This makes the case feel too hard and doesn't hold up well. Spigen Rugged Armor also feels so fragile at times that the tablet can slip out of the case if you don't press your fingers against the screen. This case is definitely not a keeper, and even if you've trusted Spigen in the past, don't waste your money.
