I protect my oculus and everything that has cost me a lot of money. I just got a puppy. I'm old and I forgot that everything is food for a baby. I put my Oculus on the stand and went to bed. The next evening I found my controllers with torn ribbons. There is only 1 tiny scratch on the gamepad which gnawed at my protective shield on the headset but luckily only ruined the straps. I'm kinda glad she did, love those thongs. They don't loosen when you tighten them. Then when you play Beat Sabering, the strap doesn't loosen enough for the controller to fly into the laundry basket. That little slide button works great! I keep my Oculus and stuff in a locked box behind my stool.
