This review is about: Gel Polish Remover - 2 Pack - Professional nail polish remover, easy and quick to work in 3-5 minutes. During the pandemic I started doing gel nails for myself. I don't have extensions, I just use gel polish. It helped protect my real nails while they grew out, but now that I have them I still use nail polish because I don't have to buff them as often as regular nail polish. Because I type a lot, my nails break easily and then peel off regular nail polish. The only real problem with gel nails is the time it takes to remove them. That's where this nail polish remover comes in. I used to have to soak cotton pads in acetone and then wrap them around my nails and clip them in place. So you'd have to sit for half an hour, and since there's nothing you can do if you soak both hands, an hour was spent just removing it. And I say that lightly because after the hour is up you still have to scrape off the polish. This distance works better in less than a quarter of that time. You just brush it like it's polish and then you wait. You can really feel it working! After about 5-10 minutes you will see the polish coming off the nail. After that, you can scrape it off easily. There are a few caveats: sometimes you need to apply more than one coat of remover. If you come across an area, such as the very tip of your nail, where the nail polish doesn't want to come off, you can simply reapply the remover and wait a minute or two. If you use glitter polish you will need two coats of remover to remove it completely, especially if you apply a primer, two coats of color and then a top coat like I did. If you are applying 3 coats of paint you will need multiple applications of this product and you will have to wait a little longer than usual 5-10 minutes. For at least 45 minutes, I can change my color more often without spending the night removing the previous one. I really love this remover and will continue to use it even when it's time to buy more.
