Brake pads are worth their money.

They work great but as my mountain bike is an older model (80's or 90's) they work but stopping power is reduced due to paint covered discs. PAINT THE RIM WHEN USING RIM BRAKES ON THE RIM as this will cause the brake pads to lose their effectiveness and could result in serious injury or even death.
