Like most soundproofing materials used in the past, this material is HEAVY for what it is. Most of them just have a shiny aluminum finish but this one has a nice smooth black aluminum finish that I really like. It's not that noticeable unless it's in an inconspicuous spot. It has great grip on the panels I've used it on and has done a pretty good job of making my panels more durable and fixing the rattling I was having with my system. I also put something on the floorpan to help with the exhaust rumble and it was pretty decent. Overall I really like this noise isolation and would recommend it to anyone who wants to reduce rattle and/or block outside road noise.
