I enjoy using Dove antiperspirants and have avoided unperfumed mitchum (male) solids for years. Finding a tasteless product has become unbearably difficult in my neck of the forest, and I need it. If I want to smell like something in particular, I buy a personal/brand scented perfume and apply it very sparingly. Many people are sensitive to smell and don't need to be irritated, and the allure of a personal scent is that the object of desire has to get close if they want a real scent hit. That's my philosophy and maybe not yours, so I'll keep going. I love that Dove keeps me dry and odor free and leaves my armpits soft and non-irritating. I used to think these were mutually exclusive! If I'm anticipating a particularly stressful event or if it's a warm time of year, I apply Dove every night right before bed as I find it much more effective than applying it right after swimming or when I'm already warm. I don't think this formula (the one I bought) is Dove's newest or most advanced, but it's still good for the reasons listed and there were no unscented options in the new formula at the time of my purchase.
