Well designed and QUALITY antenna. No problem getting FM stereo in a '95 GMC truck with a standard Delco stereo. AM generally requires a larger, more robust "traditional" antenna, and I knew that when I bought it. No, you know it too. However, the AM reception is okay with this device. Stereo FM reception is simply EXCELLENT! Caddy Daddy appreciates the quality and the great fit of this antenna on my old GMT400, PLUS; the stock antenna no longer "collides" with the garage door when entering and exiting the garage. This antenna should fit most 1988 thru 2000 model year 1/2 to 1 ton Chevrolet/GMC C/K GMT400 models and SUVs.
