Review on Palestinian Handmade Tactical Accessories: Women's Keffiyeh Shemagh Scarves, Wraps & More by Emilie Clorina

Nice color and very useful

I have at least 10 of these scarves/kefiyas/shemaghs and I love this style (this color has short tassels on one edge). I usually wear them with a black pattern on the outside. I swapped it out and wore it with an all black outfit and a simple "out" side. I got a lot of compliments for that. I wore them like tight handkerchiefs with a hem over my eyes when I was hatless—in the sun, in the rain, and in heavy snowfall. I've soaked them in water and worn them around my neck when it was 90+ outside (or inside - hello PNW and the hottest 1000 year event in years). I used one as an umbrella in Santa Fe. Because it's so big when unfolded, I was able to tuck one corner into the passenger side window and the other behind the seat belt. This worked great as it let the wind in but blocked the sun. I never leave home without it (I usually keep it in my truck). I wash it with a mild hand soap, rinse it very well and then hang it to dry. I've never had a single color of bleeding on anything. I've bought other "brands" that were cheaper, a bit smaller and lighter, but keep coming back to these.
