Review on Fossil Gen Smartwatch Model FTW4059V by Billy Mariner

I must be a weird person but I love the Gen 6 watch. I bought them to replace the Fossil Hybrid HR Collider. I've had to contact Fossil support multiple times for this and it's always been one of the best customer service experiences I've had, which is why I stayed with them for a 'complete smartwatch'. OK. To jump to some points made by other reviewers. The app that gives you 10 watchface slots and wants you to upgrade to premium for 20 is Facer. It's just a Wear OS app from the Play Store, so yes, they want to monetize it. It could also be the Real app "Fossil", which offers 10 pre-installed themes. However, there are many free ones you can use. If you look into the actual Wear OS app, there are about 20 different watch faces you can switch to at any time, all designed by Fossil for free. Battery wise I definitely get over 7 hours of recovery as stated in another review. I leave NFC off and only notice severe battery drain at night. If I charge it before bed, I can have 80% battery in the morning when I turn off Wi-Fi and BT. If I leave it on it drops to 65%. This seems quite overkill for simply tracking sleep through the night when DND is enabled. But if I can last the rest of the day on this charge and have enough spare room, then it will still last all day. I'm sure they'll fix this heavy nighttime battery drain soon and that's my only complaint. All in all, a small Wi-Fi glitch causing a bit of battery drain isn't worth shooting stars from this amazingly beautiful watch. *UPDATE* - A large nighttime battery drain was due to sleep tracking in the "Sleep Like Android" app. If you skip this, you'll still have the Google Fit sleep tracker, as well as the Fossil Wellness app. I do this by leaving everything but NFC on all the time and losing maybe 15-20% a night depending on how long I sleep.
