I pre-ordered this camera (not visible) before it came out and it did not disappoint. It's tiny even for an elf and the photos are way better than any previous elf I've had. (Now I have four.) The screen is nice and big, although it started to scratch after a week. something that hadn't happened to any of my previous elves in 10 years. I think that's what happens when the jar is so huge. My biggest gripe is the ridiculously tiny controls. I have thin fingers and can easily operate most small electronic devices. It is VERY DIFFICULT to use as the buttons are EXTREMELY small. The D-Pad is almost never used. Luckily, automatic scene selection has been improved so much that you almost never have to use the D-Pad or other controls. Basically, I always shoot in automatic mode and all photos come out well. I occasionally switch to program mode to take pictures of kids running around, but most of the time I don't need the controls anymore. It was a real paradigm shift for me after so many years of constantly adjusting the ISO and exposing my elves to get the right lighting. That said, I still typically delete extra photos while they're still in the camera, and the lack of a delete button is a huge design flaw. To delete a photo I have to press ridiculously small buttons 4-5 times. To delete a bunch of photos, I just sit around for 10 minutes and press (or don't press). I think if you're the kind of person who just manages their photos after they're on the computer, you won't have this problem. But my spouse keeps filling up the memory card, and then I have to delete dozens of pictures or videos to free up space on the camera. I think the only downside I would point out is that the camera is so small and the glass so big that it's almost impossible to take a picture without putting your thumb directly on the glass and smudging it . compact camera. I also like the color options so I no longer confuse my camera with someone else's. For the price, this really is a top-notch shooter. with 1080p HD!
