Review on 🏡 Hunter Builder 42" Ceiling Fan with LED Light and Pull Chain Control - Perfect for Indoor Spaces by Laurie Fitzgerald

I've had a few fan chasers over the years as I'm in the military and walk around a lot. I'll break this down into pros and cons as most of the fans I have at home cost a lot more than that at the moment. Due to Covid my youngest son suddenly had to move home. The room he lives in is exposed to the sun in the morning and gets very hot. I tried to match this fan to the Hunter's fan, which I already had in the room next to his. I will show pictures of both and they are only similar in appearance. So, the pros: This gan was good value. Not cheap! Or cheaply made, the hunter is a good product. . The fan was delivered very quickly by this seller. This fan is very easy to install. More on that in the cons. I haven't added the remote control yet. All parts came with a fan and it was well packaged. Cons Now when it came to the bottom main rod that I had to attach to the fan motor, it wasn't round. By that I mean it was in the shape of a teardrop. So I couldn't install a fan. I called the company and it took 6 weeks to get a replacement part. But they sent me the whole kit which gave me extra accessories. The people on pbone have been very nice and I don't mean to cheat here but you need a full verification of the truth. When the part arrived, the fan went up very slightly afterwards. Now I have to say that I'm a mechanic and DIYer, so I don't always need a guide. I have to say before you start make sure you position the screws and parts. Look for a symbol on each package. Like a triangle or a circle and match the house to the instructions. It's a great idea, but I had to go back and check it out once I started. Balancing the blades wasn't difficult, but take your time and read the instructions carefully. I never did that before the Now show. The biggest problem is electrical noise coming from the engine. It can be quite loud as the same is a low whisper in my room next door. I think part of my problem could be my light switch. There was a dimmer in the room. All in all it has 3 speeds and my son is happy so I'll give the fan a 9/10 for ease of installation and an 8/10 for customer service because it took so long to get the part. And on the fan 7 out of 10 because of the noise. Let's see how it holds up over the next few months.
