I love this system!

Many years ago I installed a q - see 8 channel camera system. It's only 720P and I've been having trouble with it lately. I decided to upgrade to a 1080p system. I've already routed the cable through the attic, but I just need to disable the 720p cameras and replace them with new ANRAN 1080P cameras. I started the installation by disconnecting my old DVR and connecting all the BNC connectors to the new ANRAN DVR. My next step was to dismantle the two old cameras and install two new ones in their place. It was easy enough because my Eve had already drilled holes and routed all the wiring. Installing the cameras is a little tricky as they articulate in three different places and you will need a hex head or hex wrench to loosen these points so you can rotate the camera and rotate it to the position you want. All cameras require you to loosen the pivots to set them up, but I was able to set everything up and point out the areas I wanted to see. I then went back to check out the cameras on my TV, which is connected to the DVR via HDMI. Holy cow, I didn't expect such an improvement with the video. My Samsung TV is 4K and just as high quality, but previous 720p cameras have never been this clear, even when my TV zoomed in on it. After seeing this amazing video improvement, I couldn't wait to install the rest of the cameras. Then I downloaded the Danale Remote Viewing App to my phone. I took a minute to read some of the reviews left for this app on the play store and there are some pretty bad ones. But my app works fine and I don't understand why people are complaining. The only downside I liked about Vine on the app is that you can only view cameras at a time. but it doesn't bother and you can just click on chamber number 5 and the other four chambers will fill up. If you click on any of the four videos, you can enlarge it and lay your phone on its side to fill the screen. I could look at my cameras and set each camera to point exactly where I wanted. Be sure to hold the camera while setting it up on the stairs. The camera app was easy to link and I just scanned the QR code after clicking the network link on the DVR from my TV. The Phone app will ask for a Wi-Fi password, but I don't recommend entering a Wi-Fi password. If you look below you will see a link with a QR code that will open the scanner and just point it at your TV. If you don't have a TV nearby, you can connect an HDMI cable to the monitor. Then I downloaded the Danele viewer app for PC. I installed this and there is a search button which found and added my dashcam right away. I couldn't view my camcorders through the computer either. With my old q-see system, I could access my DVR from my computer and record video from the DVR's hard drive from my computer. Unfortunately, this PC viewer app does not have this feature. After research, trial and error, I figured out how to access the recorded footage. You have to do it from the DVR. Just right-click on the screen, be it a TV or monitor, and click to play the recording. This allows you to browse for cameras and data, and if you have a partition that you want to film, plug in a USB flash drive into the back of the DVR and save it there. So let's say you recorded a theft and I gave it to the police and so you made a video to give them the footage. I prefer to be able to access the DVR from a computer application, but that doesn't bother me. Also for $3/month you can subscribe to their cloud service and get 3 days recording from the cloud which is easier to access. So this is another positive feature of this system. The next next test for me was how it worked at night. Well I am happy to report that the night vision on these cameras is amazing and much, much better than my previous cameras. And the night vision on these cameras is excellent, which I'm very happy with. As with the phone app, the PC app only allows you to view 4 cameras in a square at a time. But that's not an obstacle for me. I really want the PC app to give you access to the DVR and maybe I can get this working later via a port forwarding service. I have to work on that. But so far I'm very happy with this system, the functionality and the incredible image quality. It was an amazing upgrade and I'm so happy with it that I've uploaded a video so you can see it in action. Sorry for the long review but I just wanted to share my satisfaction with this system. I highly recommend it. Also, I forgot to mention that I had a previous 1080p system that I returned because the instructions were very poorly written. I risked this system and the instructions are written like the ones I returned. I highly recommend this system!
