A worthy replacement for the money

These grips are protected by a plastic film to protect the finish. They look like the original pens, but I found out later that they are slightly larger. I don't think you'll notice it unless you look very closely. The weight and feel of the grips feel light, which makes me concerned about their durability. After removing the original handle I found that there is not much difference between them. The reason I had to replace two of my original handles was because the cylinders that contained the bolts to hold the handle to the vehicle had completely snapped off, causing it to detach from the door when opened. I knew it would only be a matter of time before the entire grip came loose. Difficulty installing the handle was 3. The hardest part for me was figuring out how to transfer the bar from the original handle to the new one. It also took a bit of patience and care to get the screws out without losing them in the cavity of the open door. There are some very good videos on YouTube on how to do this. After assembly, the handles lie firmly in the hand. Again, I can't comment on the durability of the product, but for now I'm happy with it.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Basically ok, but...
