It was fairly easy to install, would have been better if instructions were included. After installing it, I found that the RPMs were accurate, but not immediately. An example of this is when you are idling it indicates you are running at the correct RPM and if you rev to 2k and hold it slowly ramps up to 2k and holds there until you change RPM. The lag isn't great, but it's very noticeable, and I'd say it lasts between a quarter and a half of a second to be exact. It's more suited to cruisers than sportbikes because if you use it on a sportbike it's practically useless.
