Didn't need a tachometer that high, changes between 1k and 2k are hard to see, can't go back because I cut the wires when installing, no bad speedo just doesn't fit my harley.

Bought and installed on my 2007 Honda Rebel 250. Excellent grade for this money! Works well. I wish it came with a handlebar mount and extra cables to make installation easier, but for the money this is a great product. Everything works as it should. Hope it lasts long!

Time will tell if it will hold up, but at least it works and as it's quite difficult to find an aftermarket tachometer I'm grateful it works. Thanks to the seller for including the wiring diagram in the description. Without an accurate diagram, you're going to have to fry the thing if you wire it wrong.

All these people are whining about the schematic, how hard is it to understand the pictures that tell you which wire goes where? Long red and black for pos and neg bulb, one wire to ignition positive, one to ground and one to signal, i connected mine to my coil, works fine and it's on a 250cc nighthawk.

Should have taken a photo or video before tearing it off the bike. Maybe just the ones I got. After the first use, the arrow stopped at 1k with no power. At idle he sat about 2.5. The maximum turnover of the bike is about 5 thousand. This thing climbed to 7km and eventually spun around until it stopped at 4km without the bike. This is a cheap tachogenerator. Wouldn't recommend it.

I live in the USA and ride my Honda. (Mainly because it's the cheapest that looks decent) It's not in mph (you already know that by reading the description, unlike some of the other reviewers who think EVERYTHING is made for US consumers is. Anyway, a friend took it for a run and had no idea how fast it went. Would recommend it if you A: live outside the US or B: know the liberty units conversion metric. Great for the money .

It was fairly easy to install, would have been better if instructions were included. After installing it, I found that the RPMs were accurate, but not immediately. An example of this is when you are idling it indicates you are running at the correct RPM and if you rev to 2k and hold it slowly ramps up to 2k and holds there until you change RPM. The lag isn't great, but it's very noticeable, and I'd say it lasts between a quarter and a half of a second to be exact. It's more suited to cruisers…
