Ugly but works great. I got Flexcut chisels for my birthday so I needed a sharpener that matched the brand's curved shapes. This has worked well on chisels, although it takes practice to find the right angle on the curved corners of the chisel, which require less sharpening than the center. The rounded sections on this jig help, and the finished chisel is as smooth as glass. I sharpened my knife with it and got an insanely sharp glass surface. Cons: Leather is pretty cheap. Any problems caused by this will resolve itself with use as the fun texture and extra strands are wiped away. Also, use plenty of sharpener. The shape of the holder and the pointed pin help with this. This is my second purchase because my dog saw my attention to this item and decided enough is enough. She took it off the table and gave it to him. So put your tools away - it's always a lesson. For $15 and if there are flexcut tools, not bad.
