Review on Heavy Thermal Socks For Women And Men, Thick Insulated Cold Weather Crew Socks 1/2 Pair By RTZAT by Jeff Long

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very comfy! Give them a shot!

Synopsis:These were really comfortable and a joy to wear. Definitely recommend.Initial Impressions:The socks came in a modest and simple bag, nothing fancy. The socks did appear to be made well and had no loose threads or stitching issues. They looked to be made just as good as my SmartWool socks which were considerably more expensive.Use:These socks are amazing! They breathe well and did not make my feet sweat. The initial use was on a hike (intermediate difficulty) on a hot day. I chose to try them on an unseasonably hot day to see how the wool would perform and it did excellent. My feet did not get hot and they breathed perfectly. I also wore them on a cool day hike and they kept my feet warm and dry too. This is what wool is supposed to do and they performed very well. I have not had the opportunity to wear them in very cold temps yet, but I will soon and will certainly update if there is anything off with them. They did not shrink or pill up after washing and looked exactly like new. The only thing I don't like about these socks is that they are made in China.Update:A year and a half in and they are holding up great and still thick and warm. Probably the warmest socks I own. Zero problems.

Pros
  • DESIGNED FOR EXTREME COLD TEMPERATURES: The warmest thick thermal socks come in crew length and enclose more of your own skin. The thick thermal socks will keep your feet warm, toasty, fully supported and more comfortable. Ribbed stay-up top keeps heated insulted socks from sliding down. Smooth toe seam reduces abrasion and improves comfort. Reinforced heel and toe with deep thick thermal yarn enhance durability.
Cons
  • They might not be suitable for people who are allergic to synthetic materials
