The pen charger is on the wrong side of the pen. Inserting an iPad with a pin magnet in the right place will cover the camera and charging ports! Even if you insert the iPad incorrectly so that the magnet is aligned for the stylus, the rubber is too thick to charge the stylus. I read reviews and questions about this product because I needed a case that would charge the pen. It's not like this.
