Review on Master Tailgaters Chrome Tailgate Handle with Backup Camera - Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra (1999-2006) Replacement by Jon Lesperance

Removing the factory handle trim was a real challenge. It was very reliable and a good fit, but I needed a camera. I was driving my truck once and this suspension fell out and will barely hold onto a stationary truck. It would be too difficult to remove and replace so I guess I'll resort to double sided tape on the inside and hope for the best. Cabling: I only had about 0.5 meters of play in the video jack. If you have a long cockpit you may need a video cable extension. I routed mine near the inner frame spars to ensure they would reach.
