I've been looking for something like this to eliminate the gap between my dog's front teeth. My dog is 17 pounds and almost 6 years old and had his teeth cleaned at the vet recently so we are trying to clean them. I didn't understand why her front teeth were in bad shape and debris was accumulating in the space between her two front teeth. I tried dental floss which made it impossible to let it sit still but they are so tiny and work great. I looked at many options and settled on this one because the tip looked so small. I've included a photo of one of them in my hand so you can see how small it is. It's smaller than I imagined and it's perfect. I just dip the tip in toothpaste and run it between my teeth. I can scratch back and forth a few times before she gets nervous and I stop. I know it works because it started bleeding the first time. A lot of! The next day it bled a little less and after a few days the bleeding stopped and that was the end of the bleeding. She had a dark area under her gums and was starting to look more pink. and also a tooth was a bit loose. and seem to have gotten stronger. I think they're great because they do the job but are soft enough not to hurt like similar bristle brushes. I highly recommend it. I gave my husband a few and he liked them too.
