sound good at low volume, but distort the bass quite early when switched on. Again, they sound good for reference listening. They do a good job of isolating external sources, which helps to hear a lower signal. Overall good for the price. It's possible that your device has a different resistance and hotter performance compared to the three devices I tested with. (lg v50, mackie mixer, astel media player and kerns). I also tried this with an m-audio headphone amp, which helped a bit. I will try them with my Sennheiser headphone system. I'll update as soon as I do.
