However, after several uses (less than two weeks after purchase!) the liner had already torn and the plastic stick was exposed which is not very safe for the pup. I expected it to last longer so it was a disappointment. It fitted horizontally well under an airplane seat and gave my 7.5 pound pup a decent amount of space. She appeared to be slightly flattened vertically, and her head pressed against the top as she stood. Although she could lie on her side and sleep. She now weighs 9 pounds and barely fits in. A 14 pound dog would not fit here. I liked the pocket on the side, very practical!
