I know the JBL office for a long time, I had no doubts about the sound, I was more worried about the need for this device to my girlfriend as a gift. But since there is trouble with the clock in her room, and the music is only from the laptop, she decided. And you know, I didn’t lose)) a great thing, there is a sticker “February 2022” on the box, there are no problems as in previous reviews, the light sensor works fine, with a delay of 7 seconds, but when the light is turned off, the clock gets dark and does not interfere. The alarm clock was tested only on button 1 - the standard melody plays with increasing volume, quite pleasant, the backlight lights up, definitely a plus. As for the sound - don't expect too much, based on high and mid frequencies, the phase inverter does not rumble well . Variants of our use: Clock, Alarm clock, Radio, Bluetooth phone, watched a movie from a laptop on a TV set. I connected the speaker to the laptop via bluetooth, the sound is much better than TV speakers. There are many use cases.
