tightness is not very good. The weak link was a 90 degree elbow twist. Fingertight plus 1 and 1/2 turns seems to me to give what was the standard for fingertight. But the real problem is that the vortex is leaking. Slow. It is enough to buy an onboard compressor, because you cannot rely on the quality of these cheap fittings. They are difficult to find replacements. I also bought another brand, replaced one side plus the other with a spare. Then I bought an inline compressor that couldn't be paired with a remote compressor. My truck has not been used for two weeks as driving with an under inflated airbag will void the warranty.
