This fan has the right configuration I was looking for. Small and lightweight with mounting base. I'm experimenting with using it in a velomobile, which in this case is a tricycle recumbent encased in an aerodynamic carbon fiber shell. It gets hot in summer, so I'm experimenting with it as a cooler. With a few modifications, it fits easily in the velomobile and doesn't interfere with any part of my body. Just got my first ride in 93 degree sunny weather and it seems to cool things off a bit at full speed - anything is better than nothing! I haven't tried the fog function yet. I haven't ridden the velomobile long enough to test the battery life, so I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt in my ranking.
