Great hat. I use it in the pool to keep the sun off my face and it works better than sunscreen. I purchased the khaki color and I do not notice any sun coming through the material. It runs a little large but still fits my head fine. I am not a large person so I believe it would work for anyone. It has a large brim and covers the back of the neck well. It also has a removable chin strap which is nice. The material dries quickly. The instructions states that it is hand washable carefully. It would also great for gardening. Very satisfied with the quality of the material.
