I have used other similar lasers at work in the past and needed one of my own for a couple of projects at home at a reasonable price. After a little research I found the self-leveling Laser Level 360 Huepar 902CG. As soon as it arrived I set to work designing a TV mount for my home theater. Next use was to line and hang a piece of Scrabble art my wife had made (see picture). Here the simultaneous presence of a vertical and horizontal line was of great importance. This saved a lot of time and left my hands free to hang the pieces. I particularly like the basic versatility. You can surface mount it, hang it, mount it on a tripod, or attach it to a metal surface using the magnets in the base. Using high quality alkaline batteries I had no issues with run time or brightness. I've used it in low light in bright areas for a few projects other than those mentioned with no problems. The only thing I see as an issue is the line thickness if you have specific situations where your measurements need to be within <1/16 of an inch. That being said, if you're looking to buy an auto-leveling laser and save money, I would recommend this product. I wish I had had this tool years ago and am always looking for new ways to use it and other features like laser blocking, strobing, etc.
