They are suitable for everyday use. Be prepared that you may have to exchange for a different set, so order in advance. I ordered two sets and both had to be exchanged. I didn't take any photos the first time, thinking it was a mistake, and just pulled out a few pieces. These photos are for the second set I bought. Everyone has some issue, from wobbly seams to stretching and cutting at an angle. Best of all is the traction the manufacturer knew, clipped and tied. It was also the tip of a napkin. The replacement was better but not perfect. I will be using one set as placemats and the other will be making fall pillowcases for my throw pillows. Washable because of children and dogs. Also, they will shrink. Machine wash on short cycle, wash cold, line dry, shrink on one side only. They have changed from 20"x20" to 19"x20".
