Not very smelly
I bought these cedar slices to put in my closet. I was hoping I could smell the cedar as I opened the closet. I have a medium sized dressing room so I wasn't expecting the smell to be overpowering but at least I smelled a hint of cedar. These discs have almost no smell. So if you're buying these for the smell, I'd try something else. I can't tell if they discourage moths. I've never had a problem with moths. So that they can work for it. They are made of smooth wood that is beautiful to look at. I left them on hangers in the closet because they protect against future moths. Not a terrible purchase. Just not what I wanted.
