The reason I bought this little burner instead of others was because of the auto shut off. It turns out I made a good choice. I bought it to use with a coffee pot. I turn it on medium and the water boils to medium in less than 4 minutes (that's how long it takes my English muffins and eggs to cook). Before buying I read reviews that the numbers are erased but when you turn the outer ring on and off don't touch the numbers. I was willing to apply some nail polish if needed, but so far so good. The price was right and now I can use my coffee mat instead of the stove again. I used to use a Keurig coffee maker, but the coronavirus made it impossible to have distilled water delivered to the home. I haven't left my house since March 26th, except when I deposited my stimulus check. Thanks to Revain, Aldi and CVS delivery services. You won't regret buying it, especially if it's still on sale.
