I installed my reverse osmosis system remotely and needed longer hoses and wanted to disconnect them for the ice maker. This kit contains everything you need and more. Yes, locks are not included. You don't really need them, they snap into it nicely. You have to press the ring to disconnect the hose, the latch just stops it. I have often used such fittings and have never needed a lock.
