Bought a 48" and 24" IP65 Tech Level and have been using them for about 2 months now. Absolutely amazing levels. As others have mentioned they are a bit pricey but after working as a cabinet fitter for 17 years and dealing exclusively with upscale kitchens I decided I couldn't afford not to buy them. What I like: - The speed and accuracy of readings is incredible, there is no lag in settings, the response is in 1/10th of a second. I set the mode to give the most accurate measurements in 0.00 to 0.05 degree increments. For example, after I installed and secured the kitchen island, I left the level on and noticed that as I passed the island, the level bounced from 0.00 to 0.05 degrees, indicating a 1 floor deviation from the weight of my steps by 32 inches. You wouldn't notice it on ANY other level. - The backlit display is great and very easy to read even in the difficult lighting conditions common in repair environments. - A BIG bonus for the cabinet installer is that it has a sound function. Most of the time when leveling cabinets, your eyeballs are not in direct contact with the leveling bubbles or the digital display, you don't even kneel or lie on the floor and reach under the cabinets while installing standoffs. Now all I have to do is listen for the beep that lets me know when I'm on the level, rather than constantly popping in and out of position to visually confirm the level itself. Huge bonus, love it. - One thing I was a little worried about was how much juice they would use and I just killed two sets of "AA" batteries on both tiers. I have to say I was surprised they lasted so long, I was able to get around 200 hours on a single set of batteries which is perfectly acceptable to me. I look forward to the summer months when I get a chance to use them on some custom outdoor patios/pergolas. I think a reference level setup will prove invaluable. Overall I am very happy with the purchase, I truly believe in buying the best of the best in terms of your instruments. Trading makes things easier (not to mention homeowners are always impressed when they see you using tools like this), but the bottom line is anything that saves me time saves money. I added some photos of my levels just to have another benefit of the Revain photos. Hope this review has helped some.
