I wish I had bought them from the start. I tried connecting some Alpine tweeters but had to cut and splice the wires. Luckily I only tried one tweeter. When I bought the original Subaru tweeters they were wired straight into the existing wiring. Trying to connect Alpine speakers I had to cut the existing wiring. I must have connected the cables incorrectly because the sound wasn't as clear as I expected. Since I swapped my 2017 for a 2020 WRX, I wasn't able to test my theory.
