This product makes water changes a lot less painful. I used to pour water into a bucket and I had to carry a heavy bucket to the garden and pour the dirty water over the plants. Then I fill the bucket with fresh water and pour it into the tank. At the same time, everything in the aquarium flew. The pump is very efficient and pumps water quickly. The only thing I don't like about this pump is the poor quality hose that comes with the pump. It's made of low-quality plastic, thin and quite stiff. It's also too short. Luckily I had an expensive siphon with a long thick plastic tube. I was able to cut the pipe shorter and use the pipe for the pump. With the best pipe, the pump is close to perfect.
