Worked great at the right price

01/21/2021 Just wanted to let you know the bag is still sturdy and leak free. I have towed a 5x8 trailer and made several trips north to Canada with a full load as well as many trips to southern California and the bag has never given me any problems. I also use Hartge vent springs and the included links which vent the bags a bit to lower the back of the x5 and the bag has been good. Not sure why some reported getting a slimmer bag, but mine was the same size as the original. one he replaced. 2019 review. Purchased to replace the intermittently leaking right rear pocket on my 08 e70 X5. I've tried taking the old one out without cutting it to keep in case I need it as sometimes it doesn't leak for days and sometimes I get out and see my car tilt to one side. Save yourself the frustration and simply cut open the pouch with a sharp razor and it comes out easily. When I installed mine I locked the car, jacked up the rear and removed the wheel. I cut open the airbag and pulled it out. Unscrew the air line and remove the top protective rubber cap and I've reused it with a new bag. This saves you from having to fit a new fitting to the air line, otherwise you will have to remove the old fitting to get the old cap. out. Installation was quick, just screw the air line onto the new airbag and plug it back into the car. I also unscrewed the auto fill level sensor next to the bag to keep the air pump from starting. So far the bag has worked well. I carry a 30 liter ribbed tool box in the trunk of my x5 along with a car cooler and a full size spare and it hasn't leaked since it was installed.
