Definitely order a size smaller than you normally get!
If I were wearing these outside the house, I definitely would need a size smaller. But I wanted them just for indoor casual wear, so I just sewed up the 4-inch-too-long hem (I'm 5'4") and have been happy with the baggy fit as opposed to a too-small size. The material is very soft & warm, & looks great. Very comfortable. I'll be trying the next size down (which will probably still be too long) & expect to be much more happy with the fit.
