I have a 1DP to 3DP MST hub. I don't know if my product is defective or if they are all but my picture quality is very inconsistent with this MST hub. I'm using it with a 1080ti with three 1080p 60Hz displays, which should be overkill. However, if I leave my computer for a few hours, the displays stop connecting and I have to do a hard reset by turning the computer, monitors, and hub off and on again to get them to reconnect. When connected, however, the hub does not affect the image quality and the screen does not flicker noticeably after the first few seconds. I can use my computer for hours with no problems, only when I leave it and the screen goes to sleep the hub doesn't seem to know what to do. Sometimes when I go back one of the screens works again and then it cycles through each of my screens, turning each one on and off in turn until I reload everything. Overall I'm fine using it for myself, but I wouldn't feel comfortable using it on a system I'm making for someone else, so it's hard for me to recommend it. The high price isn't unfair as MST hubs are generally expensive, but that doesn't help either.
