I used this disc for almost everything last year and I really liked it. until this week it unexpectedly failed due to a failed hard drive and it would have cost $1,200 for a "possible" data recovery. I hate not having a backup of everything, but it makes me seriously frustrated with this drive. I have written to the manufacturer of this product and their recommendation of what to do is much less than a real guarantee: ask Revain to replace it, or just reformat the drive (can't be done with a failed drive) . Update: The manufacturer says the data recovery company had to open the drive case to access the drive, this will void the warranty and I will have to ship it back to them (no data recovery) to take advantage of the warranty. Wow.
