I recently purchased and installed this mount to hide all the cables behind a wall mounted plasma TV. Just so everyone knows, it's just a gangster box. You still need to buy a socket, HDMI socket, etc. of your choice for installation. The biggest benefit of this item was that I got HDMI output and a Leviton 47605-ACS J-Box. Surge Protection Kit - an AC power module, both of which have been recessed into the wall. This meant the plugs didn't get stuck in the TV when connecting the TV and HDMI cable. The TV is completely wireless and doesn't look impressive now. Hope that helps.
