Description of 📦 Arlington Industries DVFR2W-1 Wall Plate: Enhance Your Décor with a Stylish 2 Gang White Finish

Recessed box allows items, such as furniture, to be placed closer to the wall. Plugs don't extend past the wall like a regular box. Trim plate is textured / paintable. For power or low voltage applications. Positioning tabs for 1/2 Inch wall thickness assure accurate placement on studs.

Definitely a good buy if you want your setup to be lean!

I used this and the triple tape to convert an unfinished basement into a living room theater. I put the double behind the TV and the triple behind the cabinet with the receiver. I love that I can push my furniture against the wall and not have to worry about kinked cords. Minus 1 star for one reason: I used one of the groups in each box to run low voltage cables from the speakers and receiver to the TV. Once your bezel is one, it is very difficult to reach and pull through the wire or grab the…

Great problem solving.

If you have a situation where there is not enough space, this may be the solution for you. I needed a few more inches of free space under my desk for my PC and a few other things. This gave me the necessary permission. The installation sucked, but that's probably just me. I don't like working on the ground floor where most of the retail stores are. It took me about 45 minutes to install. I just had to enlarge the hole where the old box was, remove the old box and reconnect the sockets in this…

Great box! Safe, deep and durable.

This box is truly amazing - it features a recessed power outlet and low voltage wiring. I particularly like the fact that it can be easily mounted directly to the rack after cutting a hole in the drywall and using the screws provided (I don't like just mounting the box to the wall). The clips used for the upgrade and attached to the wall itself are pretty strong. All plastic construction is thick and made of good quality hard plastic. The blue plastic boxes commonly used for switches and…

Works pretty well behind a TV

I bought this to fit behind a wall mounted TV. All I wanted to send to the outlet was power, HDMI, sub-out and coax and ethernet. It has enough room for a surge protector outlet, about the same as any other 1-post outlet. The bezel is a little flimsy but feels solid - just don't over-tighten the screws. The cable openings on the non-electrical side are a bit small, I had to open them up a bit on that side of the box to get all the cables on one side up. The rest of the box is very solid and…

Works exactly as you expect

I installed a 2 piece socket box after assembly behind the TV when hanging it on my bedroom wall. The problem is that with a traditional outlet, the plugs protrude from the wall, making it difficult, if not impossible, to plug them in. This built-in socket was exactly what I needed. The connectors can now be reached and connected/disconnected without removing the TV. A few notes: First I would install the TV and place it where you want it and then see where the outlets are best placed. My TV is

Standard Depth Stud Mounts - Clean Install

I recently purchased and installed this mount to hide all the cables behind a wall mounted plasma TV. Just so everyone knows, it's just a gangster box. You still need to buy a socket, HDMI socket, etc. of your choice for installation. When the box first arrived it looked too big for the standard wall depth (2X4 studs are usually 3 and 3/4). centimeters deep). I put a tape measure on it before crashing into the wall and it worked. The first aid box can be used in new or old buildings. My…

A great idea! on wall panels and accessories

I installed one of these on the wall to have power, TV and gigabit ethernet right in the bedroom. He is behind a large desk and the minimum distance is now the thickness of the thickest cable. Typically, a TV coaxial cable needs at least 2 or 3 inches because the plug sticks out too far, a power plug at least 1 inch (even a rectangular plug), and Ethernet at least 2.5 cm to prevent the thin cable from being pinched or pinched through severe 90 degree bend damaged. Now the dresser is pressed…
