I bought this reusable filter for two reasons. 1. I reduce the amount of plastic in my life due to its estrogenic properties and potential impact on my health and 2. for the environment. I am very happy. I was afraid the metal would affect the taste of the coffee, but luckily that didn't happen. Another plus is that it is SUPER easy to clean and comes with a cleaning brush. Thorough cleaning literally takes 10 seconds. I feel great supporting the family business and investing in my health and the environment.
