Ignore the bad reviews on these Tree Saver Belts! You don't seem to have read it, have no idea what they are used for? I bought mine a few years ago and love it. I haven't had any problems with them, they are very durable when used for their intended purpose: they wrap around trees and tie rope to them so horses can be tied. I like that one ring is larger than the other so you can thread the other end through which allows you to position it on the tree and leave it hanging while you put on the other strap which makes it really easy to work with when you are alone. . I also bought a Carolina North 10035 1/2" rope ratchet with 15 feet of braided polypropylene rope with a 500 lb capacity. Plenty, you need it! It will make your life a lot easier! I had three horses on one rope over the weekend tied and never had a problem with these straps not holding so if you use them for what they were designed for you won't be disappointed.
