I wanted a wall mount as close to the wall as possible. With this bracket you can mount the TV very close. It's so close that it's very hard to put your hand behind the TV and work on it. You can definitely pull the bottom latches and tilt it a bit, but I would definitely connect the cables to the TV before installing. After that, attaching it will be quite difficult. In general, the scope of equipment of this television is quite large. I was able to fit my 55" Samsung there without too much complication. My TV has a bizarre curved back, which made raising the TV a bit more difficult than usual. I had to use the supplied standoffs, which I measured as needed, and different sized screws for the top holes versus the bottom holes. But it works great, so I'm glad I didn't have to run to the hardware store to buy more hardware, like I've had to do with several other wall mounts in my experience. This thing is strong and sturdy, I have a feeling it will stay there for a long time.
