The light is great (when it works)

October 2020 I bought this light for a nano aquarium that I am adapting to hold some low light plants and some shrimp. At the moment my new aquarium is running on a bike so I can't comment on how effective the light is with livestock or plants in it - I'll update this in a few months when I leave the lights on. I like that the light intensity can be adjusted, although programming the light timer is difficult and time consuming. The most annoying thing about this light is that it doesn't stay in place when you position the light. The gooseneck that should hold it in place isn't as tight as it should be. You position the light and after a few hours it starts to move noticeably. The clip that holds the light in my rimless tank works well - nothing wobbles or moves. I really like some of the features (price, size, adjustable intensity, timer) but it's inconvenient to hold it in a stable position. To update. Unfortunately this lamp broke after three months of use, so I am sending it back. Too bad because I really liked this light, but it just didn't work anymore. I'll see if I can find something similar, maybe a little more expensive but more reliable.
